room view

A peaceful scene interrupted by surreal elements, this is another scanned drawing with digital color. I got a chance to play with texture brushes and layered color while depicting a cozy room. To me, this illustration makes me think of the single images sometimes published alongside short stories, often in the middle of somebody’s daily monotony being completely diverted into something fantastical.
