As the newest edition to the Creamery brand, Star Girl is my current obsession. I loved designing her to incorporate the scalloped edges and rainbow colors of the scoopies, but as a magical girl! I drew inspiration from Sailor Moon, W.I.T.C.H., Cardcaptor Sakura, and Pretty Pretty Please I Don’t Want to be a Magical Girl. I still have lots of sketches in the works (I have designed some fellow magical girls to join her crew!) but Star Girl is foremost a lover of ice cream and friend to scoopies, and if you collect stars with her, you’ll find so much extra joy in your life!

Star Club is a fun way to shout out a beloved classic feature of stopping by the Creamery, collecting the stars! I have known customers (and some employees) to collect hundreds of stars! I’m not patient, and I exchange them for free pints the moment I earn enough, but it's such a fun tradition. I'm glad we are developing a way to show you’re part of the club, and a fellow lover of Long Beach Creamery!
